An efficient heating system
The centerpiece: fireplace insert Ekko W 67(45)
Kachel + Kamin Anten GmbH planned a water-fired fireplace together with its customer. This was integrated as support in an advanced heating system that includes a solar system, an 800-liter buffer tank, underfloor heating and a central ventilation system. In addition, the fire was to be visible from the living room, dining area and kitchen and offer the option of heating from the hallway via an outdoor firing system.
A fireplace was already firmly anchored in the initial 2020/2021 drafts of the 240 m² house construction plans, which were largely self-built. The clients were looking for a solution that combined both technical and aesthetic requirements. They found what they were looking for in the fireplace exhibition at Kachel + Kamin Anten GmbH and received comprehensive advice. Due to the quality and availability, they chose the Ekko W 67(45) model and the fireplace planning began. The heat requirement and heat distribution must be taken into account in new buildings so that the rooms do not overheat with a powerful appliance such as the Ekko W 67(45). In this case, the heat is distributed through the window into the large living and dining area. It also rises upwards and backwards into the hallway via the staircase to the second floor. The fireplace was built according to the wishes of the end customer and was completed on time. The efficient feed into the heating system makes the fireplace an essential part of the house.
As the heart of the heating system, the client and his family chose a sustainable and modern solution that fits perfectly into the overall concept of their home, both visually and functionally.
"The successful realization of this fireplace system shows how well thought-out planning and high quality can harmonize with each other. The interplay of design and efficient technology made this project a complete success - for the homeowners as well as for us as the Kachel + Kamin team." Michael Anten
Heat of the future
A water-bearing fireplace not only provides cozy warmth, but also makes a significant contribution to the energy efficiency of the house by relieving the heating system in the winter months, as the solar system does not work as hard during these months. This combination can reduce the need for fossil fuels and enables the family to heat almost self-sufficiently in an environmentally friendly way. The successful implementation of this fireplace installation illustrates how careful planning and high-quality materials lead to an outstanding result. From the selection of the right model to the precise integration into the existing heating system, every detail has been thought through to meet individual requirements. The harmony of technology and design makes the fireplace a central element that combines well-being and energy efficiency in equal measure - a win-win situation for everyone involved.
