Fire at the touch of a button
Ceramic Logs
Camina & Schmid gas fireplaces are characterized by a varied flame pattern. A major factor in this is the ceramic logs with integrated tungsten filaments. When exposed to the flames, the filaments begin to glow, creating a particularly realistic ember effect.
Depending on the model, LED ambient lighting complements the flame pattern with a bed of embers that appear to be glowing. This can be used as a light source both when the unit is turned off and while it is in operation, adding extra depth to the flame pattern.
Settings
The flame on the gas fireplaces can be adjusted to eight different levels. These eight levels maintain a constant flame height and produce an even flame pattern. There is also a ninth setting—the ECO setting. During this program, the gas fireplace varies the previous flame height settings. This creates a dynamic flame pattern and consumes less energy.
Security
The flame in Camina & Schmid gas fireplaces is continuously monitored electronically. In the event of a power outage, two springs in the solenoid valve ensure that the gas supply is shut off immediately. If the gas pressure fluctuates, the gas supply to the fireplace is immediately shut off by the gas control valve.
LED Ambient Ember Bed
The additional LED ambient lighting recreates a bed of glowing coals inside the gas fireplaces. The simulated bed of embers in a fireplace can be used both as a light source when the unit is turned off and while the gas fireplace is in use to add even more depth to the flame display.
